Marketing tools of an affiliate program with the search engines
Many companies market their products or services through affiliate programs usually appoint as many as possible affiliates to market their products.
Being part of a large group of affiliates having the same marketing materials it becomes quite difficult to reach a top spot in a search engine in order to draw traffic to your affiliate website. Affiliate websites usually have exactly the same URL only the agent registration number is different with the content being the same.
This is now exactly where the problem comes in marketing your affiliate program with the search engines. With so many websites having the same information your chance of your affiliate website reaching a top position in a search engine is just about zero.
Then to make things worse is to end up with a ? in the affiliate URL. It seems search engines don't spider these sites and if they do you'll be listed way down the line in any case.
So how can one work ones way around this problem?

Now I'm ready to market my casino website.
First I optimize my pages as good as I can by including an eye-catching title proper description of the page and include some keywords in the page body content.
Then I list my site with the major search engines. Google, Yahoo and Bing.
However being a new domain I need to employ extra marketing techniques to work up back links. Quality back links seem to carry quite some weight with search engines. Having many relevant back links from sites with high page ranks to a website help to build a sites own page rank making your site to raise higher in a search engine.
One way to get back links is to do link swaps with other webmasters but can be quite a time consuming process.
A strong marketing tool is to write articles< of your business and list them with article directories. This in turn create a back link and if your articles are found worthy and being republished you can get a lot of back links.
Then in order to further drive traffic to your website is to setup a blog. Blogging are very popular these days since blogs information are regularly being updated. This the engines like a lot, new content being added periodically.
Another way to get your blog of the ground is to join social communities like facebook, myspace etc. A great number of people are socially active on the internet and you could possibly find a market amongst them. By pinging these communities each time you update your blog you get spidered automatically by the search engines.
To do postings in forums and commenting on blog postings including your website URL if allowed is yet another way to get back links.
By the way this is quite a nice affiliate program to join. I've been with them for over seven years.
