Setting up your own News feed in a nutshell

I got the idea from a article i have read in

The idea of a News feed is to get your News feed syndicated by
content aggregators.
Though i didn't have XML knowledge at that point in time it was
pretty easy at the end of the day.
First i did some surfing to learn what XML was.
And found it has similar properties than HTML.
Also did i manage to get a good example which helped a lot.
Have a look at
http://www.women-game.com/women1.xml
It can be written with a text editor "Notepad" is fine.
Once you're done save it as a newsfile.xml
Problem with XML files is the links are not clickable - save it as a .rss
Then to make sure it conform to the required standard is to run
the XML file through a validator.
Go to
http://www.w3schools.com/xml/xml_validator.asp
Type in the url of your XML file hit Validate and if written
correctly it should be OK.
The easiest News feed registration i have found was with
http://www.feedburner.com/
All you need to do is to register
an account and the rest is a matter of filling in a form.
Once your feed is registered, the news sites will automatically
pick up your content as you add it.
Also can you list your newsfeed with http://www.syndic8.com
Once your newsfeed is up and running - ping the social media - http://www.pingomatic.com
